Taiji

I am a student of Chen Qingzhou (1934 - 2015), grandmaster of Taijiquan (Xulu Village, Wenxian, Henan, China) and Terry Chan in the San Francisco Bay Area. I practiced taiji for the first time in high school and again in college (Yang style) but switched to Chen style upon moving to the Bay Area. I practice empty handed forms as well as weapons (e.g. straight sword, broadsword, spear), push-hands, silk reeling, taiji ball, and taiji stick (bang).

If you are interested in studying Chen taiji in its heartland (near Chen Village and Shaolin Temple of the Song Mountains), please contact me for more information on the Chen Qingzhou Taiji Institute.

I am beginning to archive photographs from the Chen Qingzhou Taiji Institute in this photo gallery.
